Phillip A. Vargo, II, joined Davis & Davis, Attorneys at Law, P.C., in 2024, bringing his commitment to client advocacy and passion for the law to the firm. While primarily based out of the Stanly County location, Phillip holds the view that justice should not be limited to Stanly County, so he relishes the opportunity to litigate in a variety of judicial districts.

Originally from New Castle, Pennsylvania, Phillip earned his law degree from Liberty University School of Law. While at Liberty, he demonstrated strong leadership, serving as both Attorney General and Class Senator for the Student Bar Association. His interest in litigation led him to earn certificates in Advocacy and Trial Advocacy. As part of Liberty Law’s Intellectual Property Clinic, Phillip successfully registered several federal trademarks for clients through the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Before joining Davis & Davis, Phillip gained valuable experience as a summer associate at a North Carolina law firm which focused on criminal and civil litigation. He also served as a legal intern for a District Attorney’s office in Western Pennsylvania, broadening his practical knowledge of the legal system.

Outside the office, Phillip enjoys spending time with his family and friends. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Phillip is also a self-taught musician, playing both piano and guitar in his free time.
